About The Paneltwistec Range

The Paneltwistec range of fasteners is an all-rounder in our wood range. The screw has a cockroach groove at the screw tip and milling ribs over the thread. This special geometry ensures that this self-drilling fastener is not only faster and easier to screw in but results in fewer instances of wood splitting when it is used.This will save you and your team a lot of time, increase your product quality and reduce damage that may require replacing the product or result in a weakened product.

The fastener comes in various sizes ranging from as small as 3.5mm x 30mm to as large as 10mm x 400mm, making this range one of the most devirse that we sell. As we have mentioned it comes in a wide range of material including temported carbon steel, hardened stainless steel, with some variations being either yellow zink plated or blue zink plated to suit different purposes.

The Paneltwistec range additionally boasts a high strength rating, a minimum of 60% higher breaking torque than the austentic stainless steel V2A and V4A hardened by heat teatment. Can be used in the usage classes 1 to 3 according to DIN EN 1995 – Eurocode 5. Conditionally rust resistant. Non-acid-resistant → not suitable for highly tannin containing woods such as Cumarú, oak, Merbau, Robinie etc. The fastener is additionally free of Chromium(VI) oxide.
